I'm Not Yelling, You're Yelling™

1. Introduction

I'm Not Yelling, You're Yelling™ ("the App") is a conversational awareness tool developed and owned by Tracy Pertner ("Developer"). This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect no information whatsoever. This includes:

• No audio or voice recordings
• No personal information (name, email, etc.)
• No device identifiers (IDFA, GAID, etc.)
• No location data
• No usage or analytics data
• No cookies
• No crash reports or diagnostics
• No third-party tracking of any kind
• No advertising data — there are no ads
• No biometric, health, financial, or contact data

3. Microphone Access

The App requests microphone access solely to analyze ambient volume levels in real time. This is essential to detecting elevated voice levels during conversations.

• The microphone activates only when you tap "Tap to Start." It is never activated automatically or in the background.
• Audio is processed entirely on your device. It is converted to numerical volume levels only. No speech, words, or sounds are interpreted, transcribed, or stored.
• No audio is ever recorded, saved, cached, or transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
• When you stop a session, the microphone stream is immediately and permanently terminated.
• You may revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings.

4. Third-Party Services

The App contains zero third-party tracking code. No analytics, no ad networks, no crash reporting, no social media integrations, no cloud storage. Because no data is collected, there is no data to share. We do not sell, rent, or transfer any user data to anyone.

5. Network Activity

The App makes no network connections during normal use. It functions entirely offline with no internet required. There are no background requests, heartbeat signals, update checks, or telemetry. The only exception is when you choose to make an in-app purchase or restore a purchase, which is handled entirely by Apple's App Store — the Developer's code makes no network requests.

6. Local Preferences

The App stores a small number of non-personal preferences on your device: whether you have completed the onboarding walkthrough, how many listening sessions you have completed, and whether you have purchased full access. These are simple values containing no personal information, no audio data, and no usage history. They never leave your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the App.

7. In-App Purchase

The App offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock unlimited sessions. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The Developer does not receive, store, or have access to any payment information, credit card numbers, or Apple ID details. Apple's standard purchase terms and refund policies apply.

8. Data Retention

Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to retain or delete. Session statistics exist only in temporary memory and are permanently discarded when the session ends. No session data persists between sessions.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be posted within the App and at this URL. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from any user, including children under 13. It is fully compliant with COPPA and GDPR.
